I probably would have pushed on the flop, or pre-flop. I'm reall only afraid of JJ or AA here on this flop. Hard to beat these passive slowplayers... He prbly shoulda raised you on the river... I think you were desitned to lose, very difficult to lay that down. At PP in MTTs I usually just push KK and AA preflop unless the table is REALLY tight, you usually get a caller, there r some bad beats, but i win the majority of the time. If not at least u don't lose alotta chips, u win some blinds at least...

BTW HOw much was first prize?

I'm still finding it very tough to sniff out sets (with pocket pairs) when I've got an overpair.

I think you played it fine overall, but I probably would've pushed all-in pre-flop. That's the only way you win this hand if you get him to lay it down pre-flop.

Also I'd consider you lucky because, most players in that spot would've at least tried to put you all in on turn if not the river.
