Did I make a good read or was it obvious that I had him beat on the turn? I had a feeling that I had him beat on the turn so I made him pay for the river, fortunately I caught my boat on the river and he caught a flush.

I would have raised him on the flop rather than the turn: if he does have the overpair I want to know early so I can avoid bigger losses later. OTOH, if you have a lock read on the guy for overcards/draw you played it well.

He played that board like he had an overpair (with the exception of the river). He probably put you on a straight draw thats why he went allin on the river. The river played out itself, but if it was any other club, I would have folded to any str8 or his flush. I think u got a little lucky he wasnt on an overpair or a straight draw, your tp is a little weak going into the river agianst other playable hands here.
