Didn't have any read on opp other than his VPIP was 0 after 20 hands. I really wanted to fold this and I realised that if he was one of the reg 9/6 nits I would have folded pretty quickly.

I think this one is pretty interesting on all streets. On the flop I thought a c/r would look to strong on this dry board so I led out. Thoughts on turn check? I thought he had ~88+ on the flop and I wanted another vbet on the river. Obv if he bets I shove turn.

Ugly late streets, tho I cant see a way to fold here.

I love donking flopped sets, just make sure your range here contains more than 44/55/88, otherwise most regular players will catch up on this soon. Leading the A-turn after donking flop would be too strong to get paid off, I like c/c here as well.

And do not fold this river. Yea, he has turned/rivered one of his two outs often and no, he´s never bluffing this spot, but so many people check thru AK/AQ on turn with this relative dry flop and if he doesnt realized its a missed c/r on turn our hand must look pretty retarded to him.

on the strategy side of it, if you're playing half-stacked and there's a bad opponent who's also is playing half-stacked, but sucks out and doubles up, you can only win half his stack when he makes a mistake later on vs. if you buy in full, now you can win his whole stack. (not to mention implied odds just became useable)
