BankItDrew will become famous soon enough
There is a better chance that he hit a 2 pair than a flush. Or maybe even lower trips that he may have been slow playing and only re-raised because you had shown aggression.

I would have called this.

Are you on the forums doing the werewolves again?

Girlfriend:
Soo... you forgot to run that errand, but you had time to werewolf? Wtf?

Why no flop bet?
He's calling there anyway most likely...but at least you can get out on the river more confidently...

Had he checked on the turn as well then I would pick this baby up, there is almost no hand that will check twice. I dont feel the need to take unnessesary risks on this flop

BTW he was a nice guy, he e-mailed me the results

I think had I bet the flop, he woulda flat called (doh) and I woulda ende dup going broke on the later streets. THis worked out well in general.

Yea - not a bad line in this case given what you were up against, and that you hit something good on the turn.
Nice of him to send you the HH there - a rare thing indeed!

Regardless of the results I think your biggest mistake in this hand is checking the flop. You gotta rep that ace and take away his drawing odds. 33% of the time opp folds cos he doesnt have an ace, 33% of the time he folds because he doesn't believe the odds are there.

I bet that flop (the pot) every single time. I have no idea why you would check it.

Lukie is on a distinguished road
You gotta rep that flop, and your argument that "he would have called anyway" is very incorrect. On a drawless board, I would like a check behind here.. situation depending. Anyway back to my point, if you bet out here, and he calls with poor odds, he is making a mistake. He is worse then 4:1 against to improve on the turn, so disreguard the fact that he does hit this time, but a 4-flush improves on the turn less than 1 out of 5 times. I don't really know how else to explain it..

Also, why raise that turn with the 3rd club out there? Call me weak but I think I call there and play the river accordingly. He is probably value betting there so you may be able to get a fairly cheap showdown. If you fill up, you may be able to take him to the cleaners.

I can't beleive everyone raises this flop that's seriously amazing, any hand you beat will call any hand you dominate will fold, if you check the dominated hands won't raise anyway + there is a very small chance of suckout. I made this post before I knew the results, but even if I never knew the results, I don't see a point to raising this flop.
