Ultimate Bet
$NL
Blinds: $0.25./$0.50.
6 players

No particular read on the guy.

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with K K
UTG raises to $2, Hero calls, 4 folds.

Flop: 3 T 4 ($4.75, 2 players)
UTG bets $4.75, Hero calls.

Dude probably didn't flop the flush, and in that case, my KK is still ahead. If he did flop the flush, I've probably got a better draw. Can't make this laydown.

Turn: 2 ($14.25, 2 players)
UTG bets $14.25, Hero Calls

Almost folded here - maybe I should have? The bet was so strong I didn't really believe he flopped the flush. He'd raised to 4x BB before the flop, and could easily have JJ, QQ, KK, AA, AK. In that case I'm ahead against everything against the AA, but even if he has it I still probably have my clean outs on the flush draw.

River: 7 ($42.75, 2 players)
UTG bets $10, Hero calls.

Way too weak of a bet here after the $14. Easy call, but can't raise in case he has the Ah.

Results:
Final pot: $62.75

Thoughts? Terrible call on 4th street?

reads/stack sizes would be helpful

if you are going to play passively pf to disguise your hand, you should raise the flop/turn.

Personally, i would raise the turn

I'd definately reraise preflop. The flop call is OK, but a raise would be better. I fold this turn though. The bet is way too big to justify any call. You need to be sure that you're going to make AT LEAST another 45 dollars (implied odds) on the river if you hit your heart, something that doesn't seem likely at all to me, proven by the actual river play. As played, river call is fine.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

This hand was played way to passive.
Reraise on flop, and push on the river.

Villain keeps on betting and shows strength throughout. I think a made flush is quite possible here. The only hands that can feasibly play like this are made flush, set, JJ+ and AK with the A. All we beat is JJ/QQ and AK if the heart doesn't come. I think OPP has us smoked.

why do you say this, he has no reads on villain, so any hand can play it like that. That being said, i know you meant reasonable range, but given that utg just raised and hero didn't reraise, i think you should add a10, 33,44, 55-1010.

Push on river. Villian's line screams AA without the A of hearts. If you raise preflop, all the money is going in. If you raise on the flop, all the money is going in, same with turn.
