Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
saw flop|saw showdown
SB ($51.95)
BB ($19.25)
Hero ($26.60)
UTG+1 ($26.80)
UTG+2 ($29.15)
MP1 ($34.30)
MP2 ($2.30)
MP3 ($25.10)
CO ($4.50)
Button ($18.40)
Villain is Semi-Loose-Passive/Aggressive.So far has come across as a reasonably solid player.
Preflop: Hero is UTG with K , K . SB posts a blind of $0.10.
Hero raises to $1, 2 folds, MP1 calls $1, 6 folds.
I make standard raise with KK.Villain calls so we take the flop heads up.
Flop: ($2.35) 2 , 9 , 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $2, MP1 calls $2.
Paired Nines concerns me a bit but I need to lead out.Villain smooth calls.
Turn: ($6.35) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, MP1 raises to $10
The turn doublepairing the board is bad;but I can't just underbet the turn because it screams take the pot from me.So I make a solid turn bet to see where I stand.Villain minraises me.
Thoughts and feedback welcome on all streets.

On the turn I think a $4 bet would be fine. You say you are betting to find out where you stand, well you are minraised, where do you think you stand now? If that was why you bet, and you were then raised, then you should fold. Ive said this before, the turn minraise and just minraises in general are the type of hands that give me the most trouble because it is so hard to really know where you do stand.
If he is Loose-preflop then could he be calling here with A2 or A9s? I think the latter is definitely a possibility, but it is hard to say. In all of your threads you simply give "SLPA" use numbers and include the number of hands, otherwise it doesnt do much good. You beat nearly any PP except 2s and 9s and As, but do you think AA would have been reraised? I hate situations like this as Im not very good at WA/WB situations, I dont think we are going to be ahead a lot of the time here though, but Im not very confident in my advice here.

I laid it down.Villain told me after had the 9 and was looking forward to adding my stack to his collection. He asked what big pair I had and I told him I was c-betting AKs;no way I let him know I can lay down KK/AA in this situation. He told me he would've gone broke with KK/AA.He said he wanted to raise on the flop but was afraid to drive me out so he waited to pop me on the turn.
