first one, i figured the small raise was at least worth seeing the flop, another classic case of someone holding on to AA

second hand, sometimes the overbet induces people to call, but really in this case unfortunately they weren't about to call anything, nice feeling to get my best hand ever! How would you bet this differently throughout the hand?

Hand 1: Hehe. You're naughty.

Hand 2: Flop: Raise for free card. Turn: Bet, guy called behind you on the flop so free card is outta the question. Keep up the aggression and just take it down. River: Overbet is nice.

I was just saying raising for the free card was right. However, someone behind you called.

The idea of a freecard is that everyone checks to you for fear of another raise and you just check behind to close action. However, this time someone behind you called and he may decide to throw out a bet when it's checked to him on the turn. Your best bet would be to drive the betting yourself, since he's shown he wouldn't raise the flop on a draw heavy board he's probably not slow playing.

So bet 1.25 to keep the aggression up, build the pot and protect your draw from a crazy position bet on the turn.
