I keep getting burned by hands like this...

I had him on QJ, and I know I'm supposed to "go with my read." Do you guys see it differently?

I bet the pot on the flop, and obviously the guy made a loose call. On the turn with that minraise i thought maybe QJ. On the river I was just sure of it.

I've been getting burned tonight with hands that I was just sure were good, and suckout after suckout. Somehow I'm only down fourty dollars.

If you had that guy listed as a loose player, I would probably have NOT put him on QJ for a few reasons. First of all, most players thinks top pair, not top kicker is good. Second of all, I probably would have made a small raise preflop to see what i'm up against. Nothing big, just 2-3 BB. AJ is not a very strong hand, but sometimes it's good to see what you're up against.
