UTG was taggy, LP caller was 28/17.
I have been a bit of a spew monkey, making bad calls where it's obvious I'm beat.
I really don't like my flop play here, but I am unsure of what else to do.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
UTG ($227.45)
Hero ($98)
MP1 ($110.50)
MP2 ($121.55)
MP3 ($86.90)
CO ($48)
Button ($95.50)
SB ($99)
BB ($98.50)
Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q , Q .
UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, MP2 calls $4, 2 folds, Button calls $4, 2 folds, UTG calls $3.
Flop: ($17.50) 5 , 5 , 4 (4 players)
UTG bets $5, Hero raises to $15, MP2 calls $15, Button folds, UTG raises to $35, Hero...
opp is running at 10/7. hasn't done much of late. I have been fairly straightforward since he sat down (not because of him, just most of my bad plays at this table occurred before he joined)

I felt kind of lost on this last hand. I put opp on a big PP, or a big suited A.

Hand 1: what do you mean he is taggy? for a big nit this is clear set/trip line. However, for an average tag, this can be: 99+
I like the flop raise (let's see where you are on the hand). Turn: I might consider folding (if we call and MP2 pushes what do we do? Are we ready to stack off to trips or full-house or eventually KK?)
Hand 2: I would raise flop. As played, I would push turn. As we did not raise flop, we do not know where we are ... is villain on a flush draw, does he have AQ/KQ or does he has a set?

#1 Flop raise is fine but a bit small. With MP smooth calling and UTG 4betting this 3way pot you´re probably dead. HU against UTg shove al day.
#2 meh, 3bet was kinda small. Given your flop play u can´t muck your hand. Your hand is underrepped and villian will play this line with AQ/AKs and QQ, maybe JJ given your weakness. I crai turn as played, but lead flop next time.

hand 1 I folded. What would you suggest as a good flop raise size? I have been blowing a lot of worse hands out lately and am consciously trying not to.
The weird part about hand 1 was the turn play. UTG check-folded, claimed he had 44 and that the only hand that MP could have is 55 for quads.
Hand 2 I CRed the turn AI, and he folded. I have no idea what hand does that here. What size 3bet are you making here pf?
