Yes, I could have gotten away.
Minraised flop, shoved turn after a check with two flush draws.
When I'm thinking, I fold. When I'm watching TV, I tend to call.

If he had a full stack I could have gotten away. Since he's just over halfstacked, I wouldn't even try.

Ya, as soon as he mini-raised, pocket eights was the first thing that came to mind. But, he was semi-short stacked and I would expect this play from Ax or even a flush draw by most of the "players" out there.
I called knowing I was probably beat, but I called none the less. I hate when I do that, thanx for the replies folks. Next time I fold.

I would have called the flop raise by him, I think TPTK is too good to get away from on the flop, but the all-in on the turn is when you have to know to get out.

I probably 3-bet the flop all in, expecting more than enough calls from worse aces and flush draws to profit.
