PhoenixWolf8 shows [ Qh, 7h ]a flush, Queen high.
PhoenixWolf8 wins $3.16 USD from the main pot with a flush, Queen high.

I really feel I played this too passively, I figured I was worried about the other guy having a better flush. Thinking on it, I'll say this worry has more to do with my BR not being ideal enough to lose a buy-in within the first few hands of a sitting.

What I'd like to know is when I'm in this situation, or something similar, what would be the best way of maximizing my profits?

Bet the flop for balance and to get the pot building.

With so many worse flushes, I think you have a river raise as I'm not sold by the call/donk line.

I think you need to focus a lot more on putting people on ranges and less on your ranges.

When betting for balance, is a half-sized pot generally acceptable?

In general a river call is weak, right? I'm basically saying that I don't know where I stand on anything and don't want to risk much either?

What would be the best way of me improving my readings? I'm finding that I am losing a lot of hands because I don't know where were I stand on a dangerous board.
