I put this guy on flush draw, hes a complete donk...
but was this the correct play?

this is completely read-dependent. you put him on a flush draw, but why? did you have a good read on him? you say he is a donk, but does his donkey-ness manifest itself in enormous overbets on the flop? you got the money in good - what more could you ask for? what this looks like is a bad beat post, and you're not going to get much of a reaction from ppl here.
