no, too often you're just setting yourself up to get crushed. You're only ahead of aq/ QJ(wtf), but most of the time your only callers will be ak/aa/kk/qq and you're probably gonna lose

Yeah, but I didn't want a caller.
I wanted to go heads up with Mr. $5.25, and have $7.25 extra to cover some odds if I'm behind.
But hey, if he's got QJ, he can call.

hmm. well i didn't notice the other guys stack was short too. Given they're both short, I don't think its terrible, but i still wouldn't do it probably.

I'd make this play and like it a lot in a tournament setting, but not in a cash game. I agree with the above posters, you're usually getting called by a better hand.

With the two short stacks if I feel like a gamble with limited risk I might do it.

you see a lot of short stacks pushing with lower PPs, if you have that read it's a reasonable play... and I assume you had that read since dude raised 4x UTG with QJs! Beee zare.
