Do you think this was stupid? I thought the guy would probably call cause he was mad, horrible, and loose...I figured any ace and he'd call, and certainly any medium pair or better. Also I've heard that some people always push abrubtly with AA and KK...is this common? Is it good shorthanded?

First one, if you know he's loose (and I'm going to assume aggressive as well), I don't see why you wouldn't check-raise with your BB special. That's what I usually do, but that's just me.

Second hand. Um...well, if you're certain he's going to call, this is good, but I'm not so sure that I would ever be that sure that someone would call. I would have raised to like $5-$10 if I thought for sure he'd call something. He did call you though, so your read was right. Well played.

he may have been having a cry after just losing and call because of that, so aswell as your picking up on his looseness then i dont think that is a bad move

In full ring with AA, KK i almost never straight out push preflop.. however.. i sometimes do as a "this is how i play aces tell," I will push them and if i get a call great.. if i dont I show and the aware players will hopefully not put me on aces when i dont go AI
villain goes AI
i call with a set (i have him owned)
i win pot
villain: **** this, this site is bullshit, ******* rigged, suck out ****
