I really struggled in this hand. I wanted to reraise the first two streets and then was confused by the river. Villain was loose/limpy which is why I raised him preflop but I haven't seen him do much yet (21 hands only).

And odds are, at this limit, he's a huge donk. I'm raising that flop every time against most players here.

why aren't you raising the flop and the turn here? Are you afraid that you are behind on the flop? Are you trying to extract maximum value? Definitely looks like you should be raising this river. Make it $5

he turned up with QT and had me stuffed on the turn, but that is not really the point of why I posted this hand.

Every now and then I play a hand scared. Strangely this usually occurs after a successful period of aggression at the table and I notice they are now avoiding me but then someone makes a semi stand like leading into me like this hand and my spidey senses go into overload.

This one as soon as he bet into me I put him on 44. Why? who knows. I wanted to reraise but couldn't because he clearly had 44. Fair enough this occasionally saves me money (arguable, very arguable) but the main thing I have noticed it is costing me money when I am ahead and there were 2/3 hands in this session of 600ish hands where this happened in semi big pots. Having thought about this for a few days I think its because I'm not putting people on ranges but on hands and this causes me to fixate on a few (in this case the one) where I need to be considering the full 'set'. On this hand alone I should consider a multitude of hands from 67, Tx (9+), TT, 44 and 55. There maybe more that feel like raising into me oop, thinking I have missed and they have a chance of being ahead.

Like you all say I should have reraised this to 90c min on the flop. Wierdly this often means I will get the opportunity to check behind a check on the turn to get to the river cheaply if I prefer pot control. If they call then lead into me on the turn they are suggesting I am way behind and I have the option of folding. In this case I gained the flush draw which should open the doors for more aggressive options from me although pokerstove says I am only 18% vrs a set here.

I think one of my goals this month is to improve my range assessment, not easy at 2/5c poker.
