in hand #2 with that many people in the hand, there are too few turn cards that you are going to like, and you probably aren't ahead now anyways, you should let that one go on the flop.

in hand #1 I would suggest checking the river and evaluating what to do based on bet size. I would usually call around a PSB, but I don't know if this is good or not.

I think you can safely fold hand 1 on river. I don't thinking leading here is great either.

With the limps pre, I'm not too jacked about flopping a pair. Potentially a bet there to try and steal the pot but I could be wrong. The turn is nasty, 2P vs a potential hit flush/straight/set. There's too many things here to beat us and once the bet is called I'm shutting down unless a boat hits me on the river. This stinks of a set/flush slowplay.

Limped pot and flopped TPNK. I hate this situation and for the most part (like #1) I'm of a mind to try and take a shot there and then and shut down or just c/f. c/c a small bet. If we hit trips our kicker sicks and that draws the board (which is what beat you here) and if we get 2P it's not really worth it compared to what might be out there. There's nothing out there we would like and, maybe I'm being too passive, but I'm folding to that flop bet. The turn is the worst card possible for us but we need to push the trips considering the kicker. If we get reraised it means that the second queen doesn't scare him and that should send off alarm bells. If he calls then we c/f, c/c the river depending on bet. Maybe I'm being too passive in hindsight but I've caught myself in situations like this plenty of times with hands which shouldn't have been played costing me a bunch.

With no reads we don't know if this guy pushes his draws or made hands. Should we really believe it's the flush rather than thinking we're beat? Any thoughts?

Against straight forward opponents, ask yourself, "what is my opponent trying to get me to do? What does he want me to do?" Then disappoint him.

Which would be a very good/easy way of learning how to move up in the thinking levels, correct?

I'm half convinced hand 1 could have badly played AA or KK. The only sets that are likely are JJ or 66. Limping AKs doesnt make sense even for a donkey but Sootedshit utg is not beyond some donkeys at my level I suppose but 25c? Either way I fold and recognise if he continues with these kind of dumb plays I will get his stack sooner than later. If I had bigger balls I would call and laugh in his face regardless of his cards.

exactly what i felt at the time.

as for leading there, pank, if i dont...he does. these spots always F me up, tho.

fnord, are you saying that villain does NOT want a caller here...therefore, i should be calling? because i really wanted to; hence, the total agreement w/ wicket about "if i had bigger balls..." it looked very bluffy, to me, but those are also the nuts A LOT at my level. and, i had no read to go on whatsoever.
