I started playing FR awhile back for like a week for the first time, then quit.

Now I'm trying it out again, mixing some 100 and 200 to get used to the differences from 6m, though this hand could easily be 6m

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($60.50)
Hero (UTG) ($180.90)
UTG+1 ($106.45)
MP1 ($100)
MP2 ($57.65)
MP3 ($133.70)
CO ($79.50)
Button ($98.50)
SB ($50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, A
Hero raises to $3, 2 folds, MP2 calls $3, 4 folds, BB calls $2

Flop: ($9.50) A, 2, K (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6, MP2 calls $6, 1 fold

Turn: ($21.50) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $11, MP2 calls $11

River: ($43.50) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $6, Hero Shoves

Based on his bet sizing I don't think he almost ever has a FH or flush. Looks like a clueless valuebet from an ace. Since we split with him, why not shove?

I've been looking to find ways to avoid splits when I'm pretty sure we're going to. Villain's bet sizing in these spots is usually a huge tell.

I don't like shoving the river open because I'm called by a made flush, which I don't think this player raises on turn. I also gain any value bet from an ace with a c/rai.

this really only works vs. weak or villains who are poor players

it's an excellent bet if your read is correct that villain has AQ,J,T,9,7,6,5,4,3 a very high % of the time.

You had better have a very good read.

seems pretty bold. even i would just call. i dont hate it though.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

thanks for the reply nuts. I don't think this is as crazy as others are making it out to be. I don't mind turning my hand into a bluff in this spot because showdown value is only half the pot.
