Only 56 hands on villain but with stats of 21%/5%/1 I think that's where this guy lives.

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.15/$0.25
10 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $26.15
UTG+1: $4
UTG+2: $24.05
MP1: $25
Hero: $23.85
MP3: $30.60
CO: $25
Button: $70.65
SB: $33
BB: $9.50

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is MP2 with J K
4 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 6 6 J ($4, 3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, CO folds, SB raises to $6, Hero ??

I'd muck. I don't want to play a big pot with TPGK on a paired board.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

i know players will do this with complete crap sometimes if they think there's a good chance you're c-betting with air. what would his calling range be pre-flop - anything with a 6?
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

That's where I was stuck. This is probably not trips, though obviously I can't be sure I'm not getting the BB special. I can see him not reraising QQ with his stats. Is an AF of 1 and VPIP of 21 going to pull this with a monster hand? Probably not, though I don't have a great feel on that. Are underpairs more likely possibilities to take this line?

Yeah, I had a feeling he was making a move on me but I pussed out. If I had AA/KK/QQ here would I have been more willing to play for stacks here? Yes. So why did I play it weak here (I ended up calling, fell on the turn, I checked, he bet $12 and I folded)??? Geez, am I so afraid of AJ or a 21% VPIPer holding a 6? I get pretty disgusted with myself on hands like this.

I tell myself he had 66 or QQ. It makes me feel better.

You're ok with going to the felt with this one, Renton? I'm not being incredulous or anything-- just wondering if this is a good enough spot to get it all in. What are you putting him on?

I think you can bet like 7.5 on the turn and get away if he pushes.

It also helps if you stay bought in full
