villain has been playing pretty normally. 16/6 off 30 hands. I haven't seen him in any big hands yet.
Is there a better line for me here?

That turn card didn't really help your hand, you're still wa/wb. Your line looks so much like an Ace I'd be really suprised if you weren't beat.

check behind on the turn. Played like this the turn card does nothing but lose or in you more money.
I think AT/88 are likely but then AQ may not be so unlikely here either.

upon further reflection i realize how big of a mistake I made on the turn
I seem to lose heaps with trips. i'm pretty good not getting sucked in with TPTK or weak 2 pair but i get stacked heaps with trips. especially when i hit trips on the turn... perhaps i'm overvaluing these hands
on a AQ10A board usually i lose heaps when i'm outkicked (AJvAK) housed (AKvA10), against trips (AKvTT) or even against a made hand on the flop with a pair that improves to trips.
