Trying out isolating MP and LP limpers from BTN. Both villians are stations. Who cbets, why? Who double barrels what?

Preflop: Hero is Button with 2, K.
3 folds, MP2 calls $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $9, SB calls $8, 1 fold, MP2 calls $7.

Flop: ($29) 6, 4, T (3 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks

hmm... first i doubt i would isolate this pre against a total station.

I'd probably just give up at this point, but since you have a hand with zero showdown value, if you have any reason to believe they'll fold then you should definitely bet (i.e. if they checked the flop pretty quickly, or if they have high fold flop %'s).

I don't care much for this spot pre-flop either. K2o doesn't have enough teeth and if he's a post-flop station then you're going to get grief.

I figured isolating stations is best since they have the widest range, get tricky the least, and there's some hidden value with high card hands since they call with more crappy draws. A2 would be a little better for that, though.

I personally don't really even like the idea of isolating without a hand, but I decided to try it since it's supposed to be the nuts.

I've been trying to isolate a wider range recently, although I'd like something a little sexier than K2o to do it. When I get two callers I'm pretty much done though.

wuf, its the nuts against loosish players who fold to much. Its also the nuts against donks, but you need to have a little better flop equity than K2o. K6s is miles better, as is 87o, 22, and A7o.
