Last night I was playing on Empire Poker and caught a straight flush. I made the guy that I beat angry because as you will see he had me beaten at the turn with a higher straight than I had. When I hit my straight flush on the river he ended up betting $8 of his remaining $8.05. I got so excited that I automatically hit "Raise" without even thinking that he only had $0.05 left! As you can see in his comments he said, "u want my 5 c". I felt bad because I know that me hitting "Raise" made me come off like a dickhead. After we turned over our cards he typed in, "jack off" and left the table. I did feel badly but I just got so excited to get such a good hand!

Congrats on the Straight flush!

You got lucky on the river.

The card that makes your hand probably makes someone elses.

Yeah I knew after the turn that I had the sucker end of the straight but it only cost me another $1 to see the river and possibly catch that straight flush so I couldn't pass that up. Luckily, it worked out that time. Although I've been on the receiving end of the river my fair share of times as well so it was nice to catch one for a change.
