Raise preflop.

I think I'm calling the river, expecting to see two pair often enough (depending on post flop read/stats on MP2).

What exactly are you looking for here strip?

I don't really like the preflop call as you may be able to pick up the pot preflop with a decent raise and in this case, if you've been raising and cbetting every so often, you may just get paid off by some guy that thinks you are FoS postflop.

After hitting that flop so hard, you have to bet. Someone in the hand has a piece of that flop, and someone else is probably drawing. Make them pay to stay in the hand or chase.

The failure to bet the flop absolutely screws you on the other streets.

I am really torn about that river bet. 2pr seems as likely as a straight. I probably cry and call, read depending of course.

what was your thinking behind checking the flop?

You obviously know its a msitake so why do it to start with?

If this was the most blank flop in history then yeah, but it isnt its a great board for a set to get piles of money in on (hopefully)

Pre-flop I don't hate.

Checking this flop on the button is beyond absurd. You'll get so much mistrust...
