I think i made the wrong call here because of his re-raise, am I correct. What do you guys put him on. Due to preflop raise I figured AK and figures he has me with the best kicker.

It would have been a horrible fold becuase a lot of hands think they're winning and a lot of players will semibluff with the flush or straight draw.

AK seems like it makes the most sense. Either way, only 2 hands beat you. Pretty much impossible to fold. I'm guessing the running hearts hurt you here.

Another hand, same afternoon.
In this instance the flush as well as possibility for trips scares me, hence the fold. Since everybody limped I'm discounting A and high kicker, but am already worried about a flopped straight. Once I see a pot sized bet I raise for information, and he calls. Now I'm thinking it's very unlikely that he's got high pair or even two pair - he must have a set or the straight or at least a very good straight draw by some chance?

He bets out with a pot sized bet and since I have the lowest possibly set and am likely up against a higher set or still the straight (could he have A2o ?) i decide to fold.
