I'm looking for 2-3 players to form a study group of sorts. There are only three real requirements for consideration:
1. You have to be playing 100nl and/or 200nl full ring on either PokerStars or Full Tilt.
2. You have to be serious about poker and improvement.
3. You have to be playing 40,000+ hands a month.
The goal of the group will be to improve everyone's abilities through discussions, sweat sessions, video reviews, and daily logs.
If you're interested, send me an e-mail at jesseeddleman yahoo.com detailing how you fit each of the above items.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

40,000+ hands a month sounds to me like mission impossible. Currently, i 've got to spend 25 hours in my local card room each week. You know these live weak games are just tooo good to give up.

I honestly dont think this is a good idea. Blind leading the blind. I had a friend who had this sort of group and it definitely retarded his poker growth. But gl, hope im wrong

i'm sorry but I can't stop laughing at this. And I disagree by the way. Any poker discussion seems like it would be better than none at all.

I completely fail to see how sharing of ideas can stunt growth unless everyone in the group is retarded which I don't think is the case.

Nobody's leading anybody, and it's really just a more organized platform for the communication we were all having with each other in AIM and other forms anyway.
It's all good. How have you been btw?

Of all people posting in this thread, spoon gives a polite response! I'm impressed.
I do think it is good to discuss poker with friends, but when you discuss it with players who are using bad logic aka coming to conclusions about hands using bad logic it builds bad habits. I'm glad you guys want to put in the effort, but go annoy some high stakes reg friend you have so you can get the right answer instead of taking hours discussing it.
I have been good, thanks for asking. Ez game.
