the way it was played i was thinking split pot, so by hammering away on every street i tried to win it outright instead of splitting. i repped a hand much stronger than a pair of queens and i dont think he knew what really happened. on this particular flop i was only afraid of a set, and his flop bet of almost full pot didnt rep that to me.

anyway, thoughts on forcing tptk into a 90bb pot...?

Since you weren't afraid of much beside monsters, I would have bet the river for a call, and if he came over the top i would have folded but otherwise it seems you had the hand won...

Looks like standard play. I think he was either chasing spades or had KQ.

spades doesnt make sense since he limp-called preflop and then LED preflop in front of the preflop aggressor. i dont think a spade draw can call the turn due to the size of the bet. plus he had a fairly large stack so i assume he was SOMEWHAT competent.

i think ive narrowed his hands to KQ/QJ/AQ or A2s. im more inclined to think he had A2s...nut flush draw in addition to a (possibly clean) over.

People lead out all the time with draws regardless of the preflop aggressor because if you have AK here you're likely to fold. If he has A2s here he's sitting on trips by the time the river comes so theres no way he folded that. Much more likely to be A8-AJs.
