no reads. should i have bet the flop harder? would you fold on the river? i figured he had a busted draw since most times a better hand would raise by the turn, especially on this board.

i would fold, i think its too likely that he has something like KQd or JTd. this would be alot tougher if the river was a black 3.

sometimes these are bluffs, but the pot doesn't have enough money in it to compensate for the times you lose.

i thought i was making a good bluff-call, but looking back i agree - the pot was too small to be EV+ with the 3rd diamond.

result in white - hero thinks about heart draws and sets/2 pairs but forgets about KQd and JTd/calls, villain has JTd!

And be sure to thank villain for playing the river like an absolute donkey. How would you react to a 4-6$ bet on the river?

This isn't to say the massive overbet is a bad play, though the massive overraise is usually much better, you can get calls with the exact thinking you were having, 'this must be a bluff, who wouldnt' value bet?' though this hand just didnt smell like that.
