Good call.
Even if someone has flopped the straight on you (unlikely), you have outs to a boat.
Set over set is very rare, not much you can do when it happens.

It's hard to put him on anything when he just goes out and pushes. He's only getting a call if you have an underset.

You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

No way you lay this down. I make it a point to pretty much never lay down my sets. Sucks when you ahve the ass end of a set over set battle. But you absolutely played thsi correctly.
The only thing you are realistically behind is 55, 66, and a flopped straight. teh flopped straight is pretty much a foregone conclusion, and if they have 55 or 66 in situation (which, unfortunately one of them did), then you just have to pay them off. The times you make money off this call will FAR exceed the times that set over set will lose you your money like in this instance.
