Hey, guys, first hand history post... don't eat me up too badly. I was wondering if I missplayed this hand on the flop. I was out of position and the flop scared me. I didn't want to lose too many chips here, so I just checked. When my opponent pushed, I had a nagging feeling that he might be bluffing but he made it expensive for me to find out. What's your opinion?
Thanks.

Just call his PFR, or push PF. You have precious little room for postflop play with his stack being that small. As played, a 1/2 size pot bet is over half his remaining stack and commits him to push, either on the flop or the next street, so it's check/fold or push.
With no reads, it's check/fold here all day. Hell even with reads its check/fold.

call preflop, or fold ...i'd fold here ( i like getting more than 10 to 1 implied odds when i call a raise with small/medium PP) ...calling is fine, tho ..
if you do call your looking to hit a set....check/ fold this flop...
Did you Limp/reraise?

Actually, looking at it again, I can put him on a premium pair with his small reraise and quick call of my reraise. Yeah, I think fold was the right move here on the flop.
