If you want to take pot down, make it $20-25. A $7 raise into a $28 pot will not fold out anything. Draws call all day long, and small pairs will be more inclined to look you up.

I would have probably limped this tasty drawing hand, but full marks for aggression

Often, it seems that this weak flop lead means "please raise me hard right now, so I can fold". I think you need to bump it up a bit more though - as you would if you really had the overpair you are trying to represent.
