I'm trying to incorporate some of Michael1123's suggestions into my tournament play. In Particular, betting bigger on the flop when you'd prefer that everyone just go ahead and jump ship. Tell me what's a good way to proceed with this one:

Seat 2: mrwolf70 ($1,440 in chips)
Seat 3: DoorGah ($1,520 in chips)
Seat 4: 12364 ($1,480 in chips)
Seat 5: DFC1000 ($1,500 in chips)
Seat 6: midniteclown ($1,500 in chips)
Seat 7: ddtmm8 ($1,460 in chips)
Seat 8: scarface6781 ($1,390 in chips)
Seat 9: NuWere [ AS,JD ] ($3,220 in chips)
Seat 10: mact49 ($1,490 in chips)

ANTES/BLINDS
DoorGah posts blind ($10), 12364 posts blind ($20).

PRE-FLOP
DFC1000 folds, midniteclown folds, ddtmm8 folds, scarface6781 folds, NuWere bets $80, mact49 bets $140, mrwolf70 folds, DoorGah folds, 12364 folds, NuWere calls $60.

FLOP [board cards 4S,2H,AH ]
NuWere bets $400, mact49 calls $400.

TURN [board cards 4S,2H,AH,JC ]
NuWere bets $400, mact49 calls $400.

RIVER [board cards 4S,2H,AH,JC,QS ]

Cool. I thought that was probably right but wondered if the PF raise was enough that I should worry about JJ QQ or KT

Alas here's the "true" (but not "right") answer

NuWere bets $550, mact49 calls $550 and is all-in.
//you think only 400? or is the difference negligible?

SHOWDOWN
NuWere shows [ AS,JD ]
mact49 shows [ JS,JH ]
mact49 wins $3,010.

I didn't realize he only had that little left in his stack at the end. Stupid math. In light of that, you made the right bet on the end. You have to keep betting it, and if you bet 400 and he reraises, what are you going to do, not call the last $150?

I think that you made the only play you could. You made it clear to him that he was beat after the flop, and he still opted to draw to 2 outs and managed to hit one of them. His only smart move was not to give it away after the turn. I think that you just have to pay this one off and hope people keep drawing to 2-outers.

Yah, you're play here is fine. The only legitamate hand to worry about was QQ (I guess JJ was just trying to push a little preflop assuming it was ahead.) But by river time, you've invest so much there is no folding.

You mean the revolver, sir?

I initially thought he could have AK on the flop, but he'd probably raise you. I guess A[QTJ] but those are wierd hands to re-raise with. KK?

He cold called you on the turn, that's nasty, and my read is thrown. My guess would be if he raised you on the river, he had JJ.

I don't think a PF reraise to 8BB with JJ is that loose. He wan's heads up, and if you re-raise all in you probably have AA/KK and he can lay it down. The call on the flop smacks of desperation, like JJ is the best thing he's seen in an hour and he can't lay it down (obviously can't tell that until he shows)
