OK this is VERY amusing. Not sure why the guy with a ROYAL FLUSH didnt take every chip i and my boat had!!!
Instead when catches the royal on the river, he just calls my dollar provoking bet. What an idiot!

What a call!
I see this sometimes on my 0.25/0.5$ table. People even call small bets as last player on the river with nut flush and no boat on the horizon. Hard to know what they hold after a hand like that...

He probably just didn't see it. He thought he had the flush but didn't bet because he was afraid of a full house (which you DID have).

there's also a remote possibility there is a high hand jackpot, which most of the time you must show down. you don't have enough time to check the website to find out

I'm not sure about PP, but at RoyalVegas, you only get the added "RoyalFlushBonus" if you showdown your hand. THis bonus amounts to like 50% of the pot that you won with. Also, it won't show on the front page like every other royal flush if you don't show it down. Maybe the ego thing meant more to him.

Miss an opportunity to make a bunch of money just to show the table a royal flush? I don't understand that personally. You could just say "I had a royal flush," if there's no showdown.
