Your up 3-4 buy ins. Do you change your play at all? If so how and what conditions do they depend on?

Or still solid pocket pots small unless nuts.

Texas Hold'em $0.50-$0.50 NL (real money), hand #994,901,952

Situations like this occur, is he pushing on a flush draw or straight draw etc. I definately over bet the pot here and it took its toll on me with a marginal hand. I should probably being to throw out feel bets with marginal hands and keep pots small.

I wouldn't loosen up too much pf.

Remember what got you there in the first place. Don't be so quick to give it back.

Also keep two things in mind:

Because you are the big stack, people will look you up to get some of that stack if they have a piece of the flop.

Because you have the big stack, people will stay away from you because they don't want to get tangled up with you without some kind of hand. You have a little more FE....

All this goes out the window if they are shorties.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?

You showed weakness by checking that flop heads up and following with a turn check. Had you bet, you might have chased him off. If he calls, you check/fold turn. You can see from the second hand with him that he is a calling station. He basically doesn't believe you when you check flop and then turn (and he was right). If you check/raise, he might fold, but calling him down without hitting one of your overcards is spewing.

I don't know that I would play it differently. Outside of dumping PF, though. You have to play these kinds of speculative hands with a raise every once in a while to mix it up, though. Don't make a habit of raising 69 sooted every time you look at it, for sure....

After looking at these hands, I can say one of two things are certain. Either your opponents are retarded, or you are building a loose image past the point of payoff. Either way you are at some point bluffing the unbluffable when your real hand value is primed and maxed. In other words, when people are willing to pay off your real hands with a wide range, it becomes absolutely retarded to bluff EVER.

In that hand you had TT, I cringed in disgust. You played that hand REALLY BAD from a value standpoint. Do you realize you could have had the villains stack? Do me a favor, when your opponents are loose to your bets by way of stupidity or your image, please BET YOUR REAL HANDS HARD ALL THE WAY. Don't slow down when you make a hand, and go 100 miles an hour without one. It's a classic maniac pattern. You sir are a maniac, but you can become a shark with the right kind of reads and betting.

Aaaah the beginning hands of a budding Lagg. I hope you become a skill lagg. I feel ya, because this was me at the beginning.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

From what I know of OP, he is playing WAY WAY WAY out of his bankroll if he is playing $50 NL.

Good times to slowplay:

Flopped Quads
Flopped full house
Against insanely aggressive (read: Agg factor of 6 or abvoe) opps
Against normal opponents when you RAISE pf and nothing above say an 9 comes. Wait for them to rep their overcard. Prefer if the board is light on draws as well.
When you have the absolute nuts and know they will bet with a piece.

Other than that, bet it out!
Ship It
