PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

saw flop|saw showdown

SB ($31.40)
BB ($24.50)
UTG ($9.45)
Hero ($27.70)
MP1 ($28.60)
MP2 ($16.55)
MP3 ($4.65)
CO ($13.50)
Button ($1.85)

All villains involved are loose-passive.

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A, K.
UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.5, 2 folds, MP3 calls $1.50, 1 fold, Button raises (1.85 , 2 folds, UTG calls $1.60, Hero calls $0.35, MP3 calls $0.35.

My intention was to reraise preflop and try to isolate this HU but PR unfortunatly wouldn't let me reraise;I could only fold or call.

Flop: ($5.95) Q, 3, Q (4 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4, MP3 calls $2.80 (All-In), UTG calls $4.

I missed the flop but I can't just check this pot with position.I c-bet out.

Turn: ($16.75) 2 (4 players, 1 all-in)
UTG checks, Hero checks.

I check seeing if I can hit a miracle river.Villain is essentially committed to the pot anyways and might check the river.

River: ($16.75) 2 (4 players, 1 all-in)
UTG bets $3.6 (All-In), Hero calls $3.60.\

Villain pushes which is the worst case scenario;however with the pot at $16.75 and a little more than $20 after he pushes I have to call getting 7-to-1 with the nut no pair.I can only beat a bluff/any busted draw and will lose to anything better than 22 up.

Final Pot: $23.95
Main Pot: $14.35, between UTG, Hero and MP3.
Pot 2: $9.60, between UTG and Hero.

Thoughts on the flop;who here c-bets and then calls the river push?

Ugh, this hand is disgusting, not because of your play but because of all that short stacks. On the flop it puts you in a tough position. UTG has $7.60 and MP3 has $2.80 any reasonable bet is going to commit UTG and put MP3 all in. If you check more often than not MP3 will push, if you bet and UTG calls you have to call off the rest of his stack whenever he puts it in. Im really not sure how I would play this flop though. Bet 2.80 and hope to check it down against UTG and you could fold without giving up huge odds or maybe push the flop putting them both to a tough decision? Im really not sure, and this is a tough question so while this post didnt really help haha hopefully the bump will help get some replies.

This is the ugliest piece of shit hand I've ever seen.

Ummmm, yeah, I think I push the flop, considering any action whatsoever is effectively going to put them all in (MP3) or leave so little behind that you might as well go ahead and put them all in anyway (UTG).

Yucky.

Next time, just make sure you raise it to $2. Anytime I'm playing with a really shortstacked person like that, I try to make sure my raise wil cover their call, even if I might have to raise a little more than normal. (doesn't mean I haven't been stuck in this situation though)

Is this $50 or 25nl? Conversion says 50, but it says UTG calls 0.25 so Im not sure. If it is 50 you need to raise to $2.50 preflop, otherwise preflop is fine.

Yes this is NL25.I've been working on making my preflop reraises more aggressive so that I can sniff out KK/AA sooner as well as take control postflop.

I thought about checking down/pushing the flop as well.Guess this hand really slapped me.

jackvance is an unknown quantity at this point
I bet UTG is on a pp below the Q. Here I either check/fold the flop or push it all-in.. might seem strange, but it's basically if I want to gamble with the shortstacks or not.

I agree here but it really depends on the read you have on the villain and how the hand played out. With villain check/calling the flop and then hero checking behind on the turn with like 1/5 of the pot left in his stack I would be very surprised to see him not push. If you think villain is bluffing here more than 18% of the time, call, if not fold, but I think as played its tough to fold. The better play would have been to avoid this situation by being more careful on the flop.

Villain was passive;tended to call whether he had a hand or not.

Btw villain tripled up with KQo for the boat.

After the check/call on the flop what did you put him on? After the push on the river, what did you put him on?
