PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($16.85)
BB ($12.30)
UTG ($25.35)
UTG+1 ($22.80)
MP1 ($5.75)
Hero ($24.25)
MP3 ($7.25)
CO ($14.50)
Button ($9.40)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q, Q. CO posts a blind of $0.35.
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 5 folds, UTG+1 raises to $8, Hero ???

Do we call here or push or even fold? And if we have an overpair to the flop do we call a shove? This is a serious leak in my game. Against a 8/7 this is a real easy fold. But against the more laggy opponents I have real trouble figuring out what to do here.

lay it down.

microstakes + pf threebets = QQ no good

only situation in which the above does not apply, is when you happen to have a chronic pf 3-bettor at the table, who also happens to be the villain in the hand

Even, when villain's range is exactly {KK+, AK} it's still not a good situation to gamb00l. We need more lower pairs in villains range to make continuing +EV.

25nl'ers have a too much of TABTA range to play QQ for stacks here. This is a very clear fold especially, when Hero has fairly conservative 3bet range.
