These two hands happened in two consecutive orbits, I'm not too hot on blind wars so comments on all streets appreciated.

From what little i've seen, villian is aggressive but not too smart.

Should I check call that river, I feel I should get some value from it but theres a lot that could beat me.

I would have check called the river on the first hand. If he had any kind of draw he hit it. Like you said, the only hand you're getting called by is a lower two pair and his raise indicates he beats two pair. If you check, he might think he can buy it and take a stab with nothing. If the positions were reversed and he checked it to you, I like the value bet.

2nd hand, I like how you played it. I don't want him to see anymore cards after the flop. Your donkbet was good, looks like you're trying to buy it and induced a bluff (probably).

I think you played the AA hand perfectly even though I prefer to reraise preflop. AK hand you probably showed down as cheap as possible. If you bet the turn and he smooth-called, then your showdown would be more expensive. So, not bad in my opinion.

hand 1: I like the river bet. It's a value bet and gives you an indication of where you stand given the coordinated board.

hand 2: ship it
