I don't hate the way you played it, but raising the flop to $2.50 or so is probably better. There has to be some chance that they'll fold, and you'll probably get to see the river for free if they call.

Just calling in position isn't bad. If one (or both ) of them are drawing at flushes or a straight you could hit the jackpot on the river if it's like the 8 of hearts..
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Other than folding there are alot of different ways to play this hand and none of them would be bad. The one that has the most value is raising the flop and taking a free turn though.
