I think this is my first ring game post.
I know this isn't the best line for extracting the most money out of a worse hand, but I like avoiding situations where I have to make hard decisions. If I bet 1/3 his stack he has odds to call. If I bet 1/2 I'm pot-committing myself. I guess my real question is, do you fear the 7, I think no?

This is a 5MAX table, I've been mixing it up with Leo. He's the only one who's played back at me. On the river he usually makes a very large raise/bet or he folds to my ~pot bet. On the Boss site you can't see the mucked hand, so I never knew what I was beating if it was a showdown.

first hand i'd jack it up more preflop. post-flop get it all-in on your first two bets.
2nd hand.. I don't feel like playing hands with no potential like J8o so I'd just muck this baby preflop, even from the SB 5 handed. Ugh that board is scary. certainly fold to that raise but I think you got too involved both preflop and postflop. In situations like this, I find you can often lose a lot of money but you never win a lot of money...

Ya, I probably should have raised more, I don't like varying my raise too much, but with all the limpers... It's ingrained in my head from SnGs that 3-5x cuts it.
I normally don't play J8o, but I figured my TP was good here (since it's short handed).
I "knew" I was beat here, but I bet just in case I was wrong, I wasn't.
