i marked jandifisk2 as a loose player. that was all i had on him.

eat 1: Hero [9C,10C] ($36.05 in chips)

i think he possibly hit the 8 on the turn. i think on the river i'm behind against whatever he has except for a bluff. maybe he had a busted straight draw. against everything else i'm behind.

i'm getting very good odds to call on the river though. should i make the call? i only need to be right about 25% of the time to make it a good call. and he is a loose player.
how do you like the play on the rest of the hand? do you think checking the turn is a better idea? i thought that he might have called my cbet on the flop with 2 overcards or just ace high. so i thought the bet on the turn might knock him off. and i still have top pair and an open straight draw.

he paused (a few seconds passed) on the turn before he checked. that pause might have meant that he hit the 8 and was deciding how to play his trips. the pause was longer than usual.
