Stack sizes:
UTG: $25.70
UTG+1: $32.22
UTG+2: $20.30
MP1: $36.10
MP2: $69.20
Hero: $25
CO: $21.27
Button: $26.30
SB: $12.15
BB: $23.77

Read on villain was weak/tight/passive.Earlier had gone broke on Aces against a set of 33.Known hands KQs,AA,99,85s.

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is MP3 with :4c :4s
5 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 3 folds, BB calls $0.5.

I raise to mix it up;in the past I usually limped with the PP's under TT.Common feedback on my PT stats was PFR was still somewhat under the ideal range.

Flop: :kh :7c :td ($1.6, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.35, BB raises to $2.7, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $1.35 returned to BB.

Initially I took villains quick check as weakness.Had he bet or checked normally I may have checked/folded behind but I decided with a rainbow flop to bet out.If he checks the turn I may have been inclined to check behind and hope for a free showdown(most likely folding to any river bet).

Once he came out for a minraise something seemed suspicious.I wasn't aware of villain being able to make any reads or fancy plays so I decided with little outs and no real read or money in the pot to release my pair.

Results:
Final pot: $4.3

Nice. I would open for $1, but apart from that, I've been playing all my pairs the same when opening from mid/late position. East bet/fold on the flop.

Easy bet/fold move. Played it very straight forward and I like the 3 x bb raise with low pp in mp and lp.

More often than not these guys will fold to a c-bet, even if they know its BS. So, standard bet. What card do you want? A 4? 22:1 odds on geting it. It's more worth it to bet than to get your 4, which will probably not make up for the money you would give up all the other times you don't bet, miss the 4, and thus lose when they pair their 5 on the turn.

Open-limping from LP is horrible. Ni Han.

I agree with Fnord on that, open limping late position is awful. People that limp first in with K8s OTB make me laugh...

On to the hand..

preflop: fine.

flop: fine. my plan here is to fold to c/r, fold to c/c + bet, check behind if he calls and checks to you on the turn.
