I'd just lead the river for 25 and call a raise. What made you think someone was going to bet after you checked? As played, I would just call the 50. I don't see a whole lot of value in raising.

I would have folded on the turn.

You weren't getting the odds to draw the flush.

Plus, with two players to act behind you and you have no information on their hands at all, they are more likely either going to raise or fold, not call.

turn call is fine w $ in pot and 15 outs imo.

I'm still a noob, but I don't understand the "minraise-fold to a push" line I see a lot of ppl take w 2nd best hands on river. Why is this? Is it because a lot of 3rdbest and 4th best hands are priced into the hand by the minraise but hands that beat us push?

What is the big diff between check-minraising and making a blocking bet?

If you check to induce a bluff, why reriase?

This is a confusing line to me.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I checked the river because there was a reasonable chance that someone had a one card str8. A one card str8 would just call a lead bet, so I figured to extract max value vs this hand I would check/valueraise.

but then fold to push getting great odds on your money?

i guess... since a push is most likely a better flush. hmm. i haven t played a ton of nl200 of party but I've seen ppl play a shitload of it. I've quite often seen ppl push w 2pair/str8 on boards like this. Still not sure I like folding to the push with more than 1/2 your stack invested. i m prob just an overaggro donk though.

yeah i wouldnt have stayed in the hand on the turn because of the lack of odds. you can make the argument of implied odds, but ur drawing to possibly like the 10th best straight if that...what was the result of this hand?
