fold this pre flop and buy in full
kind of a tricky spot because sb can have any two, but this is pretty standard vs a LAG. raise more though, like $4 instead of 2.75.

Tricky spot? The only hand you fear here is JJ. This is an easy push. Even if he has KK you're ahead. Against AJ/JT, you're over 44%.

Good push.

That said, I agree with the above about folding preflop most of the time when you're going to be out of position.

I also agree that your raise should have been more.

Thanks for the feedback on the initial raise amount. Great point.

I'm happy I made the push even though opp flipped over 10-10 which took away 2 outs I counted. That said......after I re-upped the entire table KILLED me on my push. Made me question it big time.

Ended up taking back my $20 plus additional $40 so at least I quieted them down

Think about those two things together. A table full of people you were able to make over two buyins from didn't like/understand your play. So?

Never listen to advice or criticism you see in a chat window again.

Thanks JeffreyGB. I usually don't care what happens in the chat window and I certainly don't let what they say effect my actions.

I'm relatively new to ring games and didn't know if my push was right. I thought it to be at the time and now that I have some confirmation from people who know how to play I feel much better.

there are no good lags or tags at 25 stars. sb's flop 3bet means that the likelyhood of you being behind and having very little fe is quite high.

preflop is good at passive tables, i think. not hundred percent positive, though.

postflop is hard to say. the HH converter doesn't give me the same info and feel i get when playing, so i just cant say exactly because it's close. probably sometimes i fold after the 3bet, sometimes push. against better players (which ytou dont find at 25) pushing is probably better. in this situation you likely have 9 outs that can be redrawn. so its not as strong as it looks.
