Hard to say. The only hand that beats you here has a 2 in it (or a PP higher than 10s). I don't think he has a 2 in his hand or the higher PP. I think he may be playing TPGK. He tried a limp PF and just called your raise. He could have 77 or 99, but I say call the river bet here.

i was thinkin he had pocket 7's or 9's or possibly 79 but i doubt that becasue his 2 pair is counterfeited on the turn. I'm guessing he boated on the turn.

After rethinking it, it was likely a good laydown. But a very tough one. You still had two outs to your bigger boat on the river tho.

Why min raise him on the flop? You are not getting any info about his had. He can call that with TPGK, on a draw, a set (to slowplay).

Raise his $3 to $10 (at least) and find out whats really going on.

Wow, I'd call out of curiostiy.

This hand just confuses me. Stops and stars again on another 2? It just doesn't add up. Especially with how strong he's betting that 2. I smell top pair or worse.

I think it was a good lay down for one reason. You had just
entered the table and had no reads. I think he may have had
77 or 99 (I don't see 22 which would have given him quads,
very unlikely) but TPTK is also possible.

Exactly. Find a better place to risk your stack. I definitely smell a set, but I'm confused here as well. I don't think a set would bet out on that kind of ragged flop. (Same with a boat on the turn.) Could have slow played a big pocket pair too. He could have anything, hard to tell without any reads at all.
