Button's HUD stats are 13/6 over about 18 hands, so small sample size. How is this line? Does this look like a set of 8s?

ill c/r flop (preferrably againt PFR) and try end it OOP. ill try control the pot if im called.

 Why flat call a minraise with AQs? I raise here. Is that bad play?

Ill also 3 bet it PF, that way if he has AA/KK the hand is over fairly cheaply, now the Q has come if he has min raised with a really big hand its tough to get away from. I CR the flop also.

 I agree with the previous posts in re-raising AQs preflop to about 3.

As played, I see no reason to think we aren't good here.

We lead out on the flop and get two calls on a draw heavy board.

Check folding is weak on the turn. How can we put anyone on a set for simply flat calling on the flop, and now betting on the turn when both players check to him? I think we need to lead out on the turn again, and see how the other two play.

We could also be behind to 910 or QJ, but we need to bet the turn to find out where we're at, I think.

Turn bet/fold is wayyyy better than check/fold or check/call IMO.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

 Usually I'd repop pf, but I don't think calling here is that bad... what are utg+1 stats? Yeah, that is a nitty turn fold, bet 2/3 pot and see what he does then... he could have anything. Never assume a set of 8s.

Sorry to bump this post. Thanks for the replies, I agree I should have led the turn.

A few scenarios, say I lead the turn for $3.50 (2/3 the pot) and:
- Opp flat calls, river comes a brick? Check/call or blocking bet?
- Opp flat calls, river comes a ? Check/call a small bet or fold to a big one?
- Opp raises to $10 - fold?

I probably c/c a lot of river cards (but I'm not calling something like a PSB). Fold to a turn raise usually.

 Lemm get this straight... just cause he called the flop, you instantly assumed he has a set?

Any semi-competent player will bet that turn when checked to, your flop bet could very easily be a c-bet with air..

bet out on the turn about 3/4 of the pot
2nd scenario
check-call and check call on the river, big bet fold
3rd
opp raises to 10 where??
