Let's postpone that topic for a later date. Lets just say I'm trying some stuff and in this game I was opening a pretty wide range for 2x.

I posted this hand particularly for post-flop. What range do you put him on? Both bets were 1/2 pot...

A or K diamonds? might've raised the ace though.. a fish that limp called.. he could have almost anything.. with 3 diamonds on the board, he could have Ax Kx Qx with a diamond.. any random connectors.. possibly giving him straight and flush draws, i would imagine a continuation isn't worth it here... particularly without asserting yourself more preflop... with a stronger preflop raise and therefore larger flop bet you would acheive a much more accurate read i think

With that PF raise he could hold anything…it won’t get any respect. I think he called down with a split pair to beat you.
Stakes: Playing $0.10/$0.25 NL

Is he fishy passive, or fishy aggressive? That makes all the difference. Without that he could have anything.

Generally speaking...

You probably won unimproved

I don't think he has one of the top two pair, because he probably would have shown aggression on the flop.

He either has a flush draw or a straight draw.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

you got no info from him with your bet PF.

all you have now is a read based on whether or not you believe he is a rock or a loose player. what kind of cards could his player type limp with pf?

did he hit the flop? if no.. swing harder than that. if maybe you could consider checking to him and see what happens.

its likely with the call on flop hes on a draw, make it so he doesnt have odds to call here. ever.

if you had checked to me on the river there, i would have moved you in.
