at .25/.50 don't bet the flop if you miss. i'll add to that, i'm having a hell of a lot of flopsicles right now, so that could be a negative view, but imo at .25/.50 with loose people, bluffing with a missed ak/aq is a waste of $$. check/fold.

and, i don't really see how AK is really any different from AQ here. IMO the only difference between AK and AQ, is a K flopping can mess you up with AQ whereas no high card can with AK, which is a tiny thing, and if an ace comes you gotta watch it so an AK doesn't get you, which is a bigger thing. only thing i do differently between the two, is i will min-reraise a standard 3-5x raise with ak, but not aq.

How would you play this hand differently if you have AK?
I don't see why you are saying AQ is not good.

AQ quite a good hand unless it is up against a raise or a re-raise, then it becomes a very dangerous hand. And yeah at the lower limits, unless there is only one person (which almost never happens) it usually becomes a check fold situation.

Good feedback from the rest of these guys. Stick to your premium hands and when the flop bet didn't take the pot down, I think you did the right thing. Most times I limp with aq, but you had good position on him. I would have put this guy on middle pair, which is exactly what he probably had. I don't think you could have played this hand too much differently
