Here's the first hand. I reraised him trying to see where I was at, but after his large reraise I felt I was beat. No reads.

UTG+1 ($23.15)
MP1 ($9.30)
MP2 ($15.40)
MP3 ($5.45)

1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.10, 2 folds, MP3 raises to $0.5, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.15, 1 fold, UTG+1 folds, MP3 raises to $3, Hero folds.

Pot 2: $1.85, returned to MP3.

Here's the second time with the same guy. I felt like he might have reraised my raise big just because he thought I would fold like I did a few hands before so I called.

Unless this guy's a moron or aggressive to the extreme, the first hand was a good laydown. AQo is a strong starting hand, but not worth calling a re-re-raise with.

2nd hand: Given that feeling, I could see calling here. I usually try to get a handle on how these players are playing before I gamble with them (see a few of his hands, etc.) If he really expected you to fold that flop though, he's trying way too hard to be aggressive, which can make him a frequent source for $$$.
