He plays a lots of hands. Checkraises my c-bets, broke me once for 80BB with his J2s that flopped bottom two and I paid it off with KK overpair.

How to play the flop?
How to play the turn if it's Queen, not Ace?
Bet the river? How much? I think I missed a lot of value on that river.

The 6 couldn't possibly have helped him, and if he could beat top 2 pair on the turn, he would have 3bet you there. Bet that river and get some of that 80BB back
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Yea his turn call, especially followed by river check, gives away he isn't beating top 2 pair...especially knowing he plays lots of hands. If he wasn't scared of the ace he would've 3 bet the turn or at least bet the river like 90%+ of the time. I would bet around 1/3-1/2 pot on the river, or whatever I think the most he calls with a high % of the time is.

I like your flop line. But if the turn is a Q and he stays really aggressive like bet/3bets or check/raises really big, and I had played him enough before so I had a solid read on his range for doing something like that, I could fold because you have a deep stack, but most times I would still get all in. Maybe that's a leak, not totally sure, but Qx will be his range with just knowing how he played the one hand, and you're ahead of that.

I agree. I bet around $20 on the river. And I think I call a check-raise, given your read and the action.

I'm raising the turn harder and definitely betting that river... I'm trying to become less of a wuss as Fnord requested by trying to lose my value for money!

Out of curiousity, how may 99 or 44 play this hand?

Bet the turn for more than 1/4 pot and probably re-raise. And lead the river. That's assuming he's decent. After the turn raise by hero, villain has to think the A helped him and he can get stacks in, but he never tries to. That tells me he doesn't have a set.

$15-$20 on the river should get a call. He raises the river, I call. I can't imagine he has a set.

If the turn is a Q, I push his turn bet.

raise the turn harder. You have a great hand and he could be drawing to the flush.

Try to get all in on the river.
