Hands like that last one happen. Sucks.

Above, I don't see any huge mistakes. If you were getting table respect (as implied by the AA comment, but negated by the drawing out you mention) it could send up a warning flag. Since he raised and called preflop, chances are he didn't have a straight here. It would send up some warning signs to me that he bet and then called your double-his-bet raise, but I don't think you can definitively put him on AA/KK.

I said it on another thread, but I think that your raises may be getting little respect from your tables. This may be a result of the apparent over-betting or it may be that you're showing down without the goods too often (or there may be another reason I'm not thinking of...). I'd look into causes for this.
I run a training site...

Well after grinding all morning till now Im only down $20 so I guess I could count this as a part of my variance/swings. I doubled up off some aces when a moron thought his 99 was good and then finally hit a set of 7s. Thats about it though. I dont think ive ever gotten a straight using 2 hole cards more than once but ive gotten so many more fullhouses and flushes.

Oh yea maybe its cuz I play no-limit and im not a piece of shit gutshot straight draw all-in caller chaser

Edit - oh yea - I signed up for a rakeback program at pokernow in case I ever moved up in limits. In the meantime will a rakeback program net me anything worth mentioning at the $25NL I do play probably as much as some pros.

oh and as im writing this i hit a fullhouse and somethin else only down $2 for the day instead of $50! Would be nice to be up instead...
