Things that make you go hmmm.....
100NL, pretty boring table.
UG opens for $5 UTG. Not sure if this is his usual opener these days or what.
I call UTG+1
Random full buy calls.
Blinds fold.
Flop is QQ-rag
Checked through
Turn is a brick
UG checks, I bet $10, random folds, UTG tanks.....folds...

It’s obviously a profitable move since the odds of someone having a Q are small. The odds of someone calling without a Q are also small (but dependent upon your image at the table). If you image is tight/boring then I would think you would net folds 85% of the time.

UG = Ultimate George FYI.
I think this is a case where we both don't have it and know the other guy is capable of putting a lot of money in the pot with very little.

Bingo, bango, bongo. I have A-high here (AK). I don't want to get into a pissing match with Fnord on a semi-scary board like this. Yeah, I could have repped a high pair (or one of the queens here), but I chose to find a better spot to get my money in the middle.
Against any *random* player I am c-betting the piss out of this flop and everyone will fold, unless I'm beat. Knowing I'm against Fnord, though, I checked it down, and essentially "gave up" the hand. I know any bet I throw out there Fnord has the possibility of reraising like a banche, and probably will. I won't be able to call it with just A-high either, because if Fnord has a pair in his hole cards he's whipping me here too.
This is where power of position comes in. If I c-bet this and Fnord calls "bullshit," he can reraise me or smoothe call. I *know* he doesn't have the queen but can I call a reraise with A-high? If he cold calls me I'm checking the hand down either way...
I just felt on this hand Fnord would have a hard time believing I had a queen. Seeing as how I don't have a pair in my hole cards, either, I'm not in good shape. Probably played pretty weakly, but I'll look for a better spot (and a worse opponent) to get involved with.
Also...The other guy in the hand had like $19 left on the flop. Any c-bet I throw out there is only going to be called if I'm beat, just didn't seem like a profitable play here.

Having a range of AA-QQ/AK here (prior to his flop action) really hurts George. Nor do I care much for opening 5x given the table texture.
It's way too easy to put you on a hand.
That is all...
