This villain as gained his stack like the hand you'll see. A luckbox who has been hitting. He plays 53/14/3 on a small sample. I have been given a ton of respect, so I wanted to play a speculative hand from the blinds (I will play this type of hand 1/1000). The BB would raise any limpers, so when everyone else went along I thought I had the right players in the pot should a monster hit.

Ask and thy shall receive. I am not too concerned about the result as you'll see, I think it's a cooler, you may not agree. I would like to know how my play went. I am concerned I played this wrong, but I need some validation if i did not.

I have been running like this. I sent a message to Poker Stars asking them to take me off the "unwanted list" as a joke. They did a hand review on me for the past 2 weeks. You know it's bad when they even notice the downswing. Anyway to cheer me up they provide a qoute from Brian Townsend.

"As it appears that you are just on a down swing I will leave you with a
quote from Brian Townsend, who is one of the most successful online poker
players in the world. This was taken from his blog after he went on a 1.4
million dollar down swing:

"I'm not gonna lie or sugar coat anything. Times are tough right now.
Though they aren't as tough as they were last April when I had my big plo
downswing. Its very reassuring that I had so much success after that tough
time. I know that I am going to rebound stronger than before as I always
seem to do. I am at a poker low right now but my last low was much lower.
I know that I will build upon this and be a stronger player for it."

The quote is for giggles, back to business

Here is the hand in question -

Well he had no reason to believe anyone had a 5. He's a dumbass though if he though you had an overpair. There was no way he was folding the turn with an OESFD.

Overall, just one of those hands.

unlucky, well played. This guy was crazy for making that call on the turn for all of his chips because the odds were not there.

odds may not have been there, and the turn is a bit late to play for overbet stacks with combos, but it was an OESF. still had a good many outs against the overpairs. but, he may be a donkey thinking you are trying to push him off with...nah, he had to respect the overpair because you did call the raise pf. 88+ had to be on his mind.

what was he thinking? kind of one of those things, i guess.
